<p>The fuel economiser device if for internal-combustion engines with carburettors, and comprises a connector with ports and of truncated cone section, narrowing in the gas flow direction. This is mounted downstream of the carburettor by means of a collar, being inserted into the intake. The ports (2) in the connector (1) become largr towards the wider end, and inside it is a partition running in the lengthwise direction and formed by two or more spiral portions of opposite pitch. Thus maximum turbulence is generated, giving optimum mixing of the fuel-air mixture.</p> |
