Automatic feeder for fish processing machinery - with bucket elevator deflected to horizontal from vertical with rotational acceleration

The feeder consists of a bucket elevator which is charged with fish from a hopper. On reaching the top sprocket of its vertical travel it is deflected into a horizontal section during which the throw-off edges of the buckets receive a rotary acceleration to discharge their contents on an oscillating table which separates the fish and lines them up longitudinally. The uniform discharge of fish results in a higher productivity of the feeder. Neither the size nor the adhesion of the fish interfere with the reliable function.
