HYDRAULIC COUPLING DEVICES

The plug and socket pipe coupling is for hydraulic systems in underground mining, has several pipe lines (16) which are grouped together in a circular duct (10). At the ends of the duct the lines are grouped in rectangular order and are held in a plug or socket (12) of flat section. The plug or socket is embodied in a housing made of two releasably connected box-shaped halves (14). The housing has a transverse insert (19) contg. holes which locate the individual lines. The free end of the housing is recessed for access to the ends (18) of the lines.
