<p>The support system for an overhead transporter is suspended from the ceiling structure. The support element between the rigid ceiling structure and the rail carrying the transporter trolleys has elastomer compensating elements. The suspension rod of the support system is held at its upper and lower end in the holding shells by end plates. Flexible elastomer hollow elements are fitted between the plates and the shells. At the upper end the shell fitted on the ceiling beam flange contains a flexible element with filling fluid whose supply can be varied. At the lower end the shell is fixed to the overhead rail and the flexible lement, with liquid filling fitted between the clamping plate on the rod and the shell. These liquid filled elements act as height adjusting and shock absorbing and noise reducing elements.</p> |
