<p>1432919 2 - Propyl - 5 - thiazole carboxylates ROUSSEL-UCLAF 13 May 1974 [11 May 1973 26 March 1974] 21088/74 Addition to 1264197 Heading C2C The novel compounds, calcium 2-n-propyl-5- thiazole carboxylate and the basic aluminium salt of 2-n-propyl-5-thiazole carboxylic acid, are prepared by reacting 2-propyl-5-thiazole carboxylic acid with calcium oxide or with aluminium isopropylate or aluminium hydroxide, respectively. Pharmaceutical compositions having hyplipaemic activity, for oral, parenteral or rectal administration, comprise one of the above novel compounds together with a pharmaceutical carrier or excipient.</p> |
