PURPOSE:Molten material such glass is extruded downwards in cylindrical form, in which a gas is jetted downwards through inside the cylinder and also from outside obliquely downwards against the cylindrical flow, thus enabling the efficient manufacture of inroganic fibers by the use of less energy.
