PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn having excellent flexibility and resistance to fatigue from flexing by forming covering layer of electroconductive resin containing dispersed electroconductive particles in surface layer part of core yarn of core-sheath type conjugate fiber comprising thermoplastic synthetic resin as core component and a resin having melting point lower than said resin as sheath component. CONSTITUTION:A core-sheath type conjugate fiber composed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin as core component 1 of core yarn and a resin having melting point at >=110 deg.C and >=30 deg.C lower than melting point of said resin as sheath component 2 is used as core yarn and the surface layer part is covered with electroconductive particles (e.g. carbon black or metal) in a shape of, e.g. electroconductive resin 3 dispersed in polyurethane resin and a covering layer of said resin is formed to afford the subject electroconductive yarn having excellent flexibility, resistance to fatigue from flexing and durability and having a slight variation of electrical resistance. |
