The system delivers powdery or granular material by weight from a number of hoppers to a transport vehicle. As the material is travelling from a hopper to the vehicle it is weighed in a weighing vessel and the flow from the hopper into the vessel is interrupted by measuring and control units working with the vessel. A set weight of material from that accommodated in each hopper is weighed off in a separate vessel for the partic. hopper to form a batch to be delivered, as soon as the previous batch has been delivered from this vessel. The vessels can be arranged to act as buffer storage hoppers for the material, being mounted high enough to allow the vehicle to travel underneath them.
