PURPOSE:To provide broad-band characteristics and make possible controlling of directivity by giving notches to one side of a piezoelectric ceramic plate to mesh form at several kinds of wide to narrow spacings leaving part of the other side of the plate thereby forming a multiplicity of electrodes.
