<p>The upper rack for dishwashing machines is provided with three or more individual and removable baskets. The baskets can be removed and replaced singly. They can themselves be subdivided into a number of small compartments. The baskets can be loaded and unloaded at a distance from the dishwashing machine. They can also be used for storage of the items that have been washed in them, without necessitating the individual removal and separate storage of these items. They can be loaded in phases, as needed, without necessitating the opening and closing of the dishwasher itself for every addition of a soiled plate or item of cutlery at a time preceeding commencement of washing cycle. The baskets can also be incorporated into the lower rack of a dishwashing machine.</p> |
