An exhaust gas purifier for use with petrol or diesel engines consists of three elements (1, 2, 3) of cylindrical form. The first element (1) contains fine gauze arranged in the form of a funnel and wrapped around with copper wire and steel wool. The second element (2) contains six small cones of fine copper and steel gauze which are surrounded with glass fibre. It is claimed that these elements cause rapid heating and cooling which result in the evaporation of the gas. Water flows out through the holes (5) and the air flows into the final element (3) and out to atmosphere through the holes (6) and pipe (9).
|
