The attachment for mowers or similar agricultural implements incorporates a bevel-wheel gear (11) with a horizontal drive shaft (13) and a vertical driven shaft (14). The gear (11) is attached to the implement support (1) by means of a forked bearing block (21) which supports the drive shaft (13). The gear has an angled support attachment (20) to which is hinged a servo device (17) for moving the gear (11) on its input shaft (13). The attachment (20) serves as a bearing on one or both sides (26, 27) for the side movements of the machine (2). The gear (11) is movable mounted on its horizontal drive shaft (13) for adjusting the height of the mower (2).
