The appts. clamps the last (28) by means of a heel clamping assembly (30) and a toe clamping assembly (16) connected with each other by base (26). The heel clamping assembly is fixed rigidly, the toe clamping assembly is slidable along the centre-line (14) and can be arrested in any position by an eccentric cam (20). Shaft (31) is seated in heel clamping assembly carrying at one end a graduated plate (22) and a lateral recording device (2). The other end of the shaft carries the clamping tool (13). The toe clamping assembly is fitted with a shaft (15) in such a manner that an eccentric cam prevents its rotation, but axial movement is possible by an operating arm (17). The shaft carries a toe clamping tool (13) resting against a support (7). Both clamping assemblies have lateral slide carriages (10, 12) serving for the independent adjustment of tips (11, 11) in vertical and horizontal directions and can be carried out by screws (9).
