The sectional demountable toy is suitable for a child of four to ten years old, is built up from a series of components, and can adopt different forms by the addition or subtraction of components. An assembled unit is of sufficient size to accommodate a child e.g. strapped in the driver's position in the case of a static vehicle form. A typical form is that of a motor car which is built up from two side panels and two foldable end pieces. The car form is changed to that of an aeroplane by removing demountable headlamps (7) and adding wing, tail, and rudder components. The aeroplane components may be of laminar form and be assembled by insertion in slots (5, 6, 8) in the original car body.
