<p>A method and a system for fabrication of composite armor laminates by preform stitching are provided to deliver an impact force to a wider area by forming a preform surrounding the area of a first surface sheet. A system for fabrication of composite armor laminates by preform stitching comprises a first surface sheet, a preform(100) that is perpendicularly extended from the side wall to surround the area of the first surface sheet, a tile of armor material which is mounted in the preform so that at least the part is positioned between the first surface sheet and a flange, and a second surface sheet which is arranged in the opposite side of the first surface sheet to cover the preform and the tile.</p> |
