A system and a method for managing a wireless local area network is provided to manage a wireless local area network conveniently by managing nodes which belong to other wireless local area communication network based on shared identification number. At least one service point(200) is connected to a wireless local area communication network, and process the information received from the wireless local area communication network. A service manager(100) process the information as to the wireless local area communication network received from the service point. Based on the processed information, the service manager manages the wireless local area communication network. In addition, the service manager controls the service point.
