Guide rails for drawers which may be attached in a groove of the drawer side wall by a flap which is made from the guide rail material being deformed into the shape required with the use of a tool. The guide rail is fitted with the flaps on that of the surfaces adjoining the groove edge which through their deformation parallel to the base of the groove may be pressed into the groove's side walls as in 2437338. At least one deformable flap (5) may be pressed out of the plane of that leg (4) of the guide rail (3) adjoining the sidewall of the groove. In the event of two flaps being formed these are positioned diametrically opposite to each other.
