Interference suppressor for TV pictures - has endoscope with shielded HF cutting cable for use with surgical instruments

The interference suppressor is for TV pictures seen through a surgical instrument and comprises an endoscope with a cutting cable (1) which is connected to an HF generator and which has an interference suppression shield (2). Pref. the earth terminal (3) of the shield is connected to the housing (4) of the HF generator, and the shield ends at a distance (a) of 8-12 cm. from the terminal (5) leading to the HF generator. The suppressor allows viewing of perfect TV pictures, and can be used with both unipolar and bipolar surgical instruments and all appts. in which HF cable is required to be passed into the instrument.
