<p>Article of outer clothing which can easily be varied in size and appearance comprises one or more open-ended sliding clasp fasteners for joining the fabric pieces, instead of one or more seams. Pref. each sleeve is connected to the upper part of the garment, consisting of back and front pieces, via an open-ended sliding clasp fastener, with the two ends of the fastener located at the lower part of the armhole of the upper part of the garment, and the central section of the fastener extending along the armhole over the shoulder joints. Alternatively, the sleeve may be split at a point between cuff and shoulder joint, with the cuff portion made of different material to that of the upper portion of the sleeve to which the fastener is attached in concealed arrangement.</p> |
