PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a mold core which can shorter a manufacturing time and to manufacture a high-accuracy mold core. SOLUTION: A minute pattern 111 for a plurality of mold cores is formed at a pattern forming material 110 (b), and the pattern forming material 110 with the minute pattern for a plurality of the mold cores formed is joined to a mold material 120 (c). The pattern forming material 110 in a part where the minute pattern is not formed is removed. Each mold core, after being cut out cylindrically, is processed in a prescribed mold core shape.
