<p>A gasification system for finely distributed fuel contg. ash produces, by partial combustion with an oxidator, a crude gas containing steam and viscous particles, which is extracted from the zone of reaction along a cold surface. The cold surface, pref. the vertical inner wall of an externally cooled pipe, is coated with a film of water by cooling the gas below its dew point. The water film on the walls carries away the slag particles to a slag extraction and a water bath. Slag is granulated and discharged together with the water through a pipe. Fresh water for topping up is added through a pipe. Viscous particles can be extracted together with the water film. Trouble by depositions on walls and valve is thereby eliminated.</p> |
