Seed bed soil compactor - has chassis attached to front of tractor having axle with three pivot mounted rollers

The soil compactor used in the preparation of seed beds, consists of a chassis (1) and is pref. attached to the front of a tractor. The chassis (1) has an axle (2) on which three rollers (3, 4, 5) are pivot-mounted. The two outer rollers can be attached with very little play, and the middle one with a large amount of play, to adapt to ground conditions. All three rollers (3, 4, 5) have round their circumference a number of transverse posts (6) protruding axially. The posts facing each other on two adjacent rollers (3, 4, 5) engage with each other.
