The roll of waterproof insulating material is for covering industrial plants, cold stores, tanks and prefabricated walls and for insulating and waterproofing civil and industrial buildings. A layer of mineral wool (glass fibre, rock fibre, etc.) has constant thickness which can be varied according to the desired degree of insulation. The fibres are oriented to allow positioning on a support adapted to broken lines or curved surfaces, pref. vertically. The fibres may be held together by a waterproof layer adhered or incorporated, and which projects on one or more sides of the elements forming the panel, to facilitate joining of the panels. The waterproof layer can be applied rapidly, and is free from thermal bridges.
