The magazine or holder for long slender containers is attached to a transport vehicle. The magazine is used esp. for projectile and propellant charge containes. The magazine ensures safe transport of the container and the arrangement is readily unloaded in action. The containers (4, 3) are arranged in two stacked rows. The propellant containers (3) are situated in the upper row and propellant charge containers are guided on rails connected with a spring profile. The projectile containers (4) are loaded in the lower row mounted on extending slides. The projectiles are held on the slides and they are hinged downward at the end of the guide track. A slide has two lateral guide profiles adapted to the projectile form.
