Fixed focus camera with flash appts. - has focus setting corrected to give shorter focus when flash unit is fitted

The compact camera has an automatic control system. The camera has a fixed focus objective for normal daylight exposures. The exposure is altered when a flash gun is fitted, with the focussing set for a shorter object distance. The flash gun operates a simple linkage (6, 7, 8, 9) which operates on the sprung objective mounting, when the gun is fitted. No adjustment is required by the user. The objective is held in the camera by a multistart helical thread (17) and it is spring loaded (18) to hold it in the fixed setting.
