Stirling cycle heat pump - has modifications to valve under top cover and to gas discharge system at piston level

The heat pump using the Stirling cycle with a piston travelling inside a sealed chamber, as in 2519869, has a modification of the overflow tube (37). At the top of the heating system is a valve mechanism (15a) under the covering ring (15) for communication between the sealing chamber (V) and the expansion chamber (E). The expansion cylinder has slits in its contant region, with an intermediate ring (38) outside it, which operates with ventilation holes (38a) to give a one way control between the sealing chamber and the expansion chamber. Gas discharge holes (41) lower down communicate with a ring-shaped gas collector chamber (39) inside the outer casing (33).
