Printed circuit board chassis - allows irregular spacing by mounting each board in standard frame which is clamped into chassis slots where required

The chassis unit, which holds printed circuit boards, allows boards of different component depths to be accommodated by allowing the boards to be mounted in the chassis at different pitches or spacings as required. The main chassis element consists of a box at the top and bottom rear corners of which are mounted specialized slotted mouldings held in place by the back plate. Printed circuits are mounted in frames with screw fittings which allow these to be clamped into the moulding slots at any points required thus allowing boards to be mounted in the chassis each with the spacing from the next board which it needs.
