<p>A washing or cleaning machine for windows, wall tiles, washable wallpaper etc. comprises one or more moving, endless cleaning belts (2), esp. having an absorbent structure. Pref. the bearing plate or "skate" (3) which slides on the wall is raised e.g. convex in the direction of the belts (2). The belts pref. run through a bath (4) of washing liq., with pairs of closure a(d squeezer rolls (7, 8) at the inlet/outlet of the path. Rubber or similar belts drive the rollers from a drive roll (6). A roll (9) beneath the drive roll separates the tank into dirty and clean sides (11, 12). A heater in the tank or on the plate (3) partly evaporates the liq. to improve the cleaning action.</p> |
