The vessel (10) which is used to store two separate substances, has a division wall (19) that produces two chambers (11, 12) inside the vessel. When the first chamber (12) is filled, the vessel part (13) and mating sleeve (14) are assembled so that the substances is sealed off inside. The second chamber (11) is then filled and sealed with a piston like stop plug (15). When it is required to mix the two substances inside the vessel, the stop plug (15) is pushed as far into the vessel as it will go. This causes the separation wall (19) to be partially sheared off by the leading edge of the stop plug (25), thus the two contents of the vessel are able to mix. The vessel is esp. for mixture of dental amalgam. |
