<p>The compact oil heated boiler which can be mounted on wheels or rollers to simplify maintenance, particularly removal of carbon caked inside, has a rectangular or cube shaped casing. The water cooled chamber carries a closure plate one end, welded onto a base frame and the boiler to form a one piece unit. The base frame consists of a rectangle made from hollow square section tube, and vertical members with holes through them for securing the fuel tank, and for anchorage and also for fitting axles for wheels. The fuel tank can then be bolten up against the rear closure plate using a connecting tube which passes through the tank. The burner tubes are fitted with securing bolts and seals for easy removal from the front.</p> |
