<p>The multipurpose kitchen tool has gripping jaws operated by a pair of handles which contain attachments e.g. a corkscrew and designed for opening bottles or jars. The jaws are used with further jaws and also removing lids by rotating about a pivot. This action is assisted by a slot below the pivot. Below this point, on the inside of the curved arms carrying the gripping members are swinging blocks. For closure purposes, there are tongues with stepped guide surfaces. The tools in the handles can also be changed for use with other materials.</p> |
