The hydraulic mud conveyor system has one or more filters and two or more stations increasing the pressure by the use of flushing water. Each staion (17, 20) has a filter unit (15, 19) and the low-pressure mud inlet of the station is connected to the filter mud outlet, while the flushing water pipe is connected to the filter clean water pipe. A buffer tank (21) can be connected between the clean water and the flushing water pipes. The filter can have a housing guiding the mud and containing filter elements whose insides are connected to the clear water outlet pipes. The cross-section of the elements decreases steadily towards the housing outlet, as does that of the passage for the mud.
