<p>Heat insulating aluminium door and window profiles are manufactured by pressing a separated plastics cores laterally between two metal profiles. The plastics core comprises projecting, e.g. dovetail shaped projections, and its abutting ends are joined by ultrasonic welding. The method is rapid, and economical in materials.</p> |
