PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of displaying both vehicle information and a portable display image to be displayed by the portable display part of the portable terminal.SOLUTION: An instrument device for a vehicle as a display device for a vehicle includes: a display for an instrument for displaying vehicle information to a vehicle occupant; a communication interface communicably connected to a portable terminal having a portable display part; and a control unit for controlling the display of the display for the instrument. When a portable display image is displayed in a state that the portable terminal is connected to the communication interface, a vehicle information display area for displaying the vehicle information and a portable display image area for displaying the portable display image are displayed discriminatingly in the display for the instrument, and the control unit performs the display control of the display for the instrument by overlapping a layer L2 in which the vehicle information is plotted and a layer L3 in which the portable display image is plotted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
