The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a light emitting device package used for display or lighting purposes, and a light emitting device package thereof. The method comprises: a first adhesive sheet preparing step of preparing a first adhesive sheet whose upper surface is coated by adhesives and is printed according to a guideline; a protection device mounting step of mounting a plurality of protection devices at a specific distance with respect to the guideline of the first adhesive sheet; a reflection member forming step of collectively forming a reflection member which has a shape surrounding an upper surface and side surfaces of the protection device on the first adhesive sheet; a reflection member removing step of removing a part of the reflection member and the first adhesive sheet to form a plurality of light emitting device accommodation cavities; a second adhesive sheet attaching step of attaching a second adhesive sheet on a lower surface of the first adhesive sheet having the light emitting device accommodation cavities; a light emitting device mounting step of mounting a light emitting device on an upper surface of the second adhesive sheet to accommodate the light emitting device in the light emitting device accommodation cavity; an optical transformation layer forming step of forming an optical transformation layer on an optical path of the light emitting device to optically transform light generated from the light emitting device; and a package singularizing step of cutting the reflection member and the first and second adhesive sheets along the guideline to singularize the sheet into unit packages.
