PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector capable of preventing an operator from having a mistaken idea that a fitting work to a mating side connector has been completed.SOLUTION: When a lever type connector is temporarily fitted to a mating side connector 30, an initial lock L is released to enable an operation of turning a lever 10, and by turning the lever 10 from an initial position to a fitting completion position, the lever type connector is normally fitted to the mating side connector 30. Separately from the initial lock L, the lever 10 and a housing 20 are provided with a turning restricting part S which comes into contact with the lever 10 in the turning direction when the lever is at the initial position and restricts turning of the lever 10. A projecting part 19 is provided in the neighborhood of the entrance of a cam groove 11, and the projecting part 19 abuts against a cam pin 34 when the housing 20 is pressed in a fitting direction to the mating side connector 30 under the state that the lever 10 is at the initial position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
