PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person identification system capable of accurately and quickly identifying the same person.SOLUTION: A camera device performs face angle range determination processing for collating photographed face image data with preliminarily stored filter face image data in each prescribed face angle range to determine a face angle range, and for associating the determined prescribed face angle range as face angle range data with the face image data. Furthermore, the camera device performs best shot determination processing in each face angle range for, when newly photographed face image data and already photographed and stored face image data are associated with the same face angle range data, determining and storing the face image data having a high face recognition degree as a best shot in the associated face angle range, and for deleting the face image data determined not to be the best shot. Afterwards, the camera device creates a person management database from best shot tabulation data obtained by tabulating the face image data determined to be the best shot in the associated face angle range to identify a person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
