Air core choke with plastic strips winding supports - which are axially divided and of cone shape configuration

Air core choke has a layered conductor winding around axially divided strips of cone shaped configuration. These support strips for the winding are designed so that at each layer transition the smallest spacing is between adjacent front layer ends, whilst max. spacing is at the other end. Each support strip has a groove on one narrow longitudinal side and a spring on the other. The bend positions of the individual windings extend over >=2 successive gaps between the support strips. Pref. the support strips are made of glass reinforced polyester mouldings and are fastened together with bolts. The construction does not require soldering operations.
