<p>A device for wetting dehydrated blocks (1) of compressed earth or compost, comprises a rigid support (3) for the blocks (1), and an enclising transparent plastics skin (4). The blocks (1) are provided with holes (2) for the introduction of seeds, and the upper surface (3a) of the skin (4) is formed with aligned holes. The support (3) may comprise a plate or a container. The support (3) is formed of wood, cardboard, or plastics. The support (3) and the skin (4) may be combined as a box. The wetting may comprise the immersion of the device in the liquid for two hours. The liquid may be water or an aqueous solution of plant nutrients.</p> |
