The scraper is fixed to the upper surface of a ski, behind the release bindings. It enables a skier to remove snow from his boots and immediately clamp the boots in place on the skis. The scraper is made from plastics or metal, in the shape of an inverted vee, the convergent point (7) forming a sharp edge. Each arm (5) has a flange (6) for screwing (8) in place, or the scraper can be incorporated when the ski is made. An alternative comprises two L shaped brackets placed back to back, gripping a plastics sheet between them. The upper edge of this acts as the edge.
|
