The quick-assembly base, by means of which an electrical apparatus (1) is mounted on an approximately U-shaped mounting rail (18), has a supporting panel with an upper coupling element (3) and has at least two downwardly projecting strips (9, 23) of which at least one (for example 9) is elastically flexible. Using this base, various types of electrical apparatuses (1) can be snapped in a simple manner onto the associated mounting rail (18), the coupling element (3) being pushed into a cut-out (4) in the apparatus (1). <IMAGE>
