<p>The carton is made from plastics and is used to hold two flavours of ice cream or sorbet. Two compartments (1,2) are provided, each being of square or rectangular shape. These compartments are joined together by a common central rib (3) at the top. Each compartment has sloping sides (13,23) for ease of stacking, the top portion (22) being enlarged. The edges of this top portion are rolled and beaded (44) forming a location for the cover (4). This fits over the top to touch the sides and the central rib, its edges (41) being turned over the bead. Stiffening ribs can also be provided, if required.</p> |
