PURPOSE:To correctly measure the density irrespective of the dimension of the width of divided images by subjecting a sample to widthwise optical scanning so as to accomplish the partially continuous measurement and by taking as a reference signal the measured signal, which has pass through only a support, so as to compensate the measured value with the reference signal. |
