A mixture is produced consisting of at least solid domestic waste which is primarily combustible in character and of liquid fuel. The solid waste is comminuted in a rotating drum and mixed with the liquid fuel. After this operation a homogenised mixture results which is discharged from the drum through a screen. The screen separates out any non-comminuted domestic waste which is still present. |
