<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic tag authentication system for, even when a mutual authentication algorithm is newly changed, achieving mutual authentication with an electronic tag manufactured in a period before change. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic tag authentication system includes: means for executing first authentication algorithm to n-th authentication algorithm as mutual authentication algorithms for performing mutual authentication, the electronic tag authentication system which being configured by having: an electronic tag for performing mutual authentication by using any of the first authentication algorithm to n-th authentication algorithm in response to a command to be transmitted from a master unit; and a master unit for performing mutual authentication with the electronic tag by using any of the first authentication algorithm to n-th authentication algorithm owned by the electronic tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
