The electrical cable grip is made from a plastic material. It has a part which is designed to grip the cable. This part has a lower pressure zone (4) and deformable elastic fingers (6, 7) which hold the cable (12) against the pressure zone (4). The cable grip has also a fixing element for anchoring the grip on a working surface. Near to the elbow (8) at the base of the fingers (6, 7) is a thinned down area (11, 11a). This area gives to the fingers greater flexibility without reducing their clamping face.
