The long seam on the outside of each sleeve unfastens (pref. with a sliding clasp fastener or press studs); the sleeve thus freed is fastened, as a long roll, to the side of the jacket, under the wearer's arm. The open fronts of the jacket may likewise be rolled back and fastened down (pref. to a belt worn under the jacket and joined to it at the back). The sleeve is pref. held down to the jacket, or the jacket front to the belt by, in each case, a strip of cloth, sewn to the garment at one end and with a fastening at the other.
|
