<p>The method and device controls the peripheral rotation speed imparted to a projectile fired from a tube in partic. for ballistic analysis of the round. The projectile firing tube is rotated by an electrical motor with variable speed which is adjusted and controlled to produce the desired rotation rate. The arrangement consists of a firing tube (1) with supports (2) allowing rotation caused by the motor (8) via a belt drive system (9, 10, 11). Height and directional adjusters (5a, 6) are also provided for tube aiming, the whole being mounted on a support base (5, 7, 7a).</p> |
