Cutter for plastic weld seam beads on window frames - with two cutter plates opened and closed by levers

Appts. for cutting off the weld beads of plastic weld seams, partic. those on window frames, comprises two cutter plates (1) of which the cutting edges lie on the frame surface and of which the cutting line lies above the welded joint. The cutter plates are moved relative to each other to open and close them by lever means. Pref. movement of the cutter plates is derived from longitudinal movement of a driver via traction levers, and the plates are closed by means of a fluid-drive piston. The cutting line may be performed in a V shape to cut off the weld beads of a T seam. The appts. operates practically automatically, avoiding manual operations, and allows the paint coating on the frame around the weld seam to be left undisturbed or reformed.
