1448434 Cleaning carpets upholstery walls ceilings and floors STEAM VACUUM EXTRACTION Ltd 25 April 1975 17323/75 Heading A4F Cleaning apparatus comprises a steam or water vapour generating unit and a suction generating unit, each having a tank 2 or 3, and means for applying steam or water vapour and suction from these units to a hand tool (not shown), the units being mounted on a single trolley with the tanks 2, 3 within a rigid frame 1 of which the lower part confines pumps 21, 22 and pump driving means of the units, the suction generating unit tank 3 being mounted above the pumps 21, 22 and the water tank 2 extending downwardly beyond the tank 3 into the lower part of the frame. The water tank 2 contains an electric immersion heater 6 and is connected to the pump 22 which has an outlet 27 for connection by a flexible hose to the hand tool. A separate inlet pipe 35 provided for the pump 22 enables different cleaning fluids to be supplied to the tool when required. The tank 3 has an inlet pipe 23 and is connected to the pump 21 which incorporates a driving motor. |
